Love

gather, linger & celebrate

The Heart of Love

In the end, the truest luxury a villa can offer is not the pool or the quiet or the games. It is undistracted time with the people you love.

Everything at Villa Bellamore was built to bring people together. The long dining table, the living room, the garden, the recreation room, and the pool balcony are all common ground: spaces made for gathering, for talking, for the easy hours that a good trip is really made of. Whether you have come to reconnect as a couple, to gather three generations under one roof, or for a long-overdue trip with old friends, this is where it happens.

This guidebook runs in three movements: Gather at the table, Linger through the slow hours, and Celebrate the moments that matter. Less a list of things to do than an invitation to be together.

Bringing everyone together

The common spaces are always yours, and the team is always glad to help a moment along.

Just gather

The living room, long table, garden, and pool balcony are open to you. No booking, no fuss, only company.

Let us set the scene

A feast, a private dinner for two, a birthday surprise, a sunset spread on the balcony: simply share what you have in mind.

Leave room for each other

The finest thing here is unhurried time; consider setting the phones aside and letting the hours stretch.

Tell us the occasion

An anniversary, a birthday, a reunion, a proposal: the more we know, the more we can quietly make it perfect.

The first movement · Gather

Around the Table

The Filipino table is where love is spoken most fluently: through food, and the hours spent around it.

  3. 03Cooking Together

01

The Long Table

Where every good day at the villa begins and ends.

The heart of Villa Bellamore is its dining table, long enough for the whole party, set each morning for the complimentary breakfast and each evening for the unhurried dinners the cook prepares. Filipino, Continental, or American to begin the day; whatever you fancy come nightfall. It is less about the food than about everyone in one place, at one time, with nowhere else to be.

The dining sala
Best for
Every meal, every day, the whole party
To arrange
Breakfast included daily; share dinner wishes with the cook each morning
02

A Filipino Feast

Kamayan: hands, banana leaves, and no ceremony but sharing.

For one night, let the cook lay out a boodle fight, a traditional Filipino feast spread over banana leaves and eaten kamayan-style, with your hands, nothing between you and the food. Grilled seafood, rice, mangoes, and island favourites down the length of the table. It is messy, communal, and completely joyful: the most Filipino way there is to share a meal.

Where
The dining sala, garden, or poolside
Best for
A memorable group night; first-timers to Filipino dining
To arrange
A day’s notice for the cook to source the freshest catch
03

Cooking Together

The best conversations happen with your sleeves rolled up.

Invite the whole family into the kitchen for an afternoon. Learn a Filipino classic alongside the villa cook, such as adobo, kinilaw, or fresh lumpia, with the little ones helping and everyone else gathered round. A hands-on way to connect, to carry a recipe home, and to turn a meal into a shared memory rather than something that simply appears.

The villa kitchen
Best for
Families, curious cooks, rainy afternoons
To arrange
Mention it to the cook a day ahead so ingredients are ready
04

The Sundowner Hour

That golden pause between the day and the evening.

Gather everyone on the pool balcony as the light turns amber: cold drinks in hand, the day’s adventures swapped, appetites building for dinner. It is the villa’s natural gathering hour, when the whole party drifts back together after an afternoon apart. Ask for a spread of drinks and small bites and let it become a ritual.

Where
The pool balcony
Best for
The whole party, every evening around sunset
To arrange
Ask for a drinks-and-canapés setup; the team is glad to prepare it

The second movement · Linger

The Slow Hours

The moments no one plans are the ones you remember: the lingering, the talking, the doing nothing at all, together.

  1. 05The Living Room
  2. 06Golden Hour on the Balcony
  3. 07Garden Gatherings
  4. 08Coffee, Merienda & Slow Mornings
05

The Living Room

The room where the whole trip comes together.

Every villa has a heart, and this is it: the living room where people drift in and out all day, where the kids sprawl on the floor, where the after-dinner conversations run long. Put on a film for movie night, deal a hand of cards, or simply sink into the sofas and let the talk wander. It asks nothing of you but your company.

Where
The living room
Best for
Movie nights, long conversations, everyone together
To arrange
Nothing needed; ask for popcorn, drinks, or the screen set for a film
06

Golden Hour on the Balcony

Twenty minutes the whole family should stop for.

There is a moment each evening when the light goes soft and gold over the pool, and it is worth gathering for. Bring drinks to the balcony, watch the day end together, and let conversation slow to the pace of the light. Couples find their quiet corner, families find their calm, and everyone finds a little perspective.

Where
The pool balcony
Best for
Couples, families, the daily pause
To arrange
Nothing needed. Just don’t miss it
07

Garden Gatherings

Room for the children to run and the grown-ups to talk.

The garden is where the generations spread out and still stay together: the little ones on the lawn and trampoline, the adults nearby with cold drinks and easy conversation. Lay out mats for an afternoon picnic, bring merienda outside, or simply let a lazy afternoon unfold beneath the open sky. Space enough for everyone, close enough for no one to feel apart.

Where
The garden and lawn
Best for
Families with children, lazy afternoons
To arrange
Ask for mats, cushions, and an afternoon merienda spread
08

Coffee, Merienda & Slow Mornings

In the Philippines, no one is ever too busy for merienda.

Some of the warmest hours are the unhurried ones: early risers sharing coffee on the balcony as the villa wakes, or the whole group pausing for merienda, the beloved Filipino afternoon snack. These small, recurring rituals are the quiet glue of a trip: nowhere to be, nothing to rush, just good company and something warm to hold.

Where
The balcony, garden, or living room
Best for
Early risers, afternoon pauses, every day
To arrange
Ask the cook for coffee, local snacks, or a merienda spread anytime

The third movement · Celebrate

Moments to Remember

Some trips mark the milestones. Tell us the occasion, and the villa becomes the setting for a memory that lasts.

  1. 09Celebrations & Milestones
  2. 10A Table for Two
  3. 11The Whole Family Together
  4. 12Toasts, Traditions & Keepsakes
09

Celebrations & Milestones

Birthdays, anniversaries, reunions: the reasons we gather.

A villa like this is made for the big occasions. Whatever you are marking, a milestone birthday, an anniversary, a graduation, a long-overdue reunion, the team can help turn an ordinary evening into a proper celebration, with a decorated table, a cake from town, and a few thoughtful surprises. You bring the people; we will help with the rest.

Where
Anywhere at the villa; you choose the setting
Best for
Any milestone worth marking
To arrange
Two to three days’ notice to source cakes, flowers, and décor
10

A Table for Two

For the couple at the heart of it all.

Amid the family and the friends, every couple deserves one evening that is simply theirs. The team can set a private candlelit dinner for two on the balcony beneath the stars, at the poolside, or in a quiet corner of the garden, with the cook preparing something special and the rest of the villa giving you the room. An anniversary, a proposal, or simply each other: a chance to reconnect.

Where
The balcony, poolside, or a private garden corner
Best for
Couples, anniversaries, proposals
To arrange
A day or two ahead; do tell us if it is a special occasion
11

The Whole Family Together

Three generations, one roof, and time that is finally shared.

The villa was designed for exactly this: grandparents, parents, and children under one roof, with space to gather and space to breathe. The ensuite bedrooms and the dedicated kids’ room mean everyone has their own corner; the common areas mean no one is ever truly apart. These are the reunions people plan years around, and remember for far longer.

Where
The whole villa, bedrooms to common spaces
Best for
Multi-generational trips, family reunions
To arrange
Tell us the group’s ages and needs and we’ll help it run smoothly
12

Toasts, Traditions & Keepsakes

The little rituals that turn a holiday into a story.

The moments you will retell are rarely the grand ones. They are the toast on the last night, the running joke, the photo everyone crowds into. Make a tradition of it: a nightly toast on the balcony, a group photo in the same spot each day, a few lines in a shared journal. Small things, and yet they are the ones that travel home with you.

Where
Wherever the group gathers, often the balcony at dusk
Best for
The last night, and every night worth marking
To arrange
Nothing needed, though we’re happy to chill something special for a toast

A suggested rhythm

A Day Together

A day given over to one another, loosely shaped and warmly spent.

  1. Early risers share coffee on the balcony as the villa wakes
  2. A slow breakfast at the long table, the whole party together
  3. The generations spread out into the garden and pool
  4. A long, unhurried lunch; no one checks the time
  5. A quiet afternoon: some rest, some talk, some swim
  6. Merienda on the lawn, children and grandparents alike
  7. Sundowners gather everyone on the balcony for golden hour
  8. A Filipino feast down the length of the table
  9. The living room fills for a film, or the balcony for a toast
  10. The last few linger, in no hurry for the day to end

There is nothing here you must do together, only the villa, the hours, and the good company to fill them.

Retreat. Play. Love.

This is Love.

In the end, this is what the villa is for. Not the pool, or the court, or the quiet, but the people you share them with, and the time you finally get to spend together. Retreat restores you. Play brings the laughter. And Love, the reason for all of it, is simply this: everyone you care about, in one place, with nowhere else to be.
